Chinese New Year Rice Flour Cake
This is a simple, sweet side dish made around the time of Chinese Lunar New Year that goes well alongside congee.

Ingredients
- ¾ Cup Rice Flour Non-Gluten Style
- ¾ Cup Rice Flour Glutinous
- ¾ Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Filtered Water
Procedure
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl, then whisk until thoroughly combined
- Pour into a lined glass container, then steam for about 45 minutes
- Allow to cool to room temperature, then chill overnight
- Thinly slice, then fry with one egg (optional) in a shallow saucepan
