Salted Caramel Cold Brew Coffee
This is a sweet, refreshing drink that's great to cool off with in the summer.

Ingredients
Cold Brew
You can vary the strength by choosing any ratio of water-to-coffee from 1:8 thru 1:4 (by weight). A good starting point is:
- 1 Liter Cold Water
- 166g Ground Coffee, Coarse
Salted Caramel Coffee
- 240 mL Prepared Cold Brew Coffee
- 75 mL Half and Half Cream
- 20 mL Salted Caramel Syrup
Procedure
Cold Brew
- Prepare a batch of cold brew coffee by mixing cold water with coarse ground coffee at a ratio of between 1:4 (strong) to 1:8 (mild).
- Place the mixture in the fridge for 12-18 hours and stir occasionally.
- Filter the mixture through cheesecloth or a coffee filter. Store and use this prepared cold brew coffee for 1-2 weeks.
Salted Caramel Coffee
- Measure out about 240 mL (1 US Cup) of prepared cold brew coffee (see above) and place into a serving cup.
- In another container, combine 75mL (5 tbsp.) Half and Half Cream with about 20mL Salted Caramel Syrup (1-2 tbsp, to taste).
- Add two small ice cubes and shake or whisk the cream and caramel syrup mixture to a light foam.
- Pour the Salted Caramel Cream mixture over the cold brew coffee and serve.
