Dumpling Cloud Soup

This recipe details how to create potato "cloud" dumplings, which can be added to a basic vegetable or chicken soup.

Dumpling Cloud Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Yellow Potato
  • 2 tbsp AP Flour
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Procedure

  1. Peel and cook the potato, then break apart in a food processor.
  2. Combine the milk, egg, salt and pepper in the food processor, then slowly mix in flour by sifting on top.
  3. When the mix is consistently combined, scoop into a pot of hot soup using a tablespoon. Allow the dumplings to cook for about 5 minutes in a low simmer.
